Korean steak with gouchujang sauce and thousand island salad dressing By Shahla Ahmed

My recipe is special because it is different from same old recipes we make in festivals and it would be a great addition to taste buds.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grm Chicken breast
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 TSP chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp maida and cornflour for dusting marinated chicken steak
  • For sauce
  • 2 TSP gouchujang paste
  • 1 TSP dark soya sauce
  • 1/2 TSP vinegar
  • 1 TSP garlic paste
  • 1/2 TSP chopped garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 TSP sugar
  • 1/2 TSP chilli powder
  • Chopped spring onions for garnishing
  • Roasted seseme seeds for garnishing
  • Oil

PREPARATION

    Score the chicken breast.

    Marinate it with ginger paste, mustard powder,salt, chilli powder and salt . Rest it for half n hour.

    Grill the chiken in pan with little oil.

    For sauce.

    Heat a pan,.

    Add 1 TSP oil.
  7. 7

    Add chopped garlic and saute untill light brown.
  8. 8

    Add garlic paste and salt.
  9. 9

    Add chilli powder, Soya sauce, vinegar, gouchujang paste and sugar.

    Cook sauce untill thick.

    Now plate it with sauce and garnish it with chopped spring onions and seseme seeds.

    Plate some salad with thousand island salad dressing.
