There is no cocktail finer or more famous than a martini, Dale Degroff has even referred to it as the king of cocktails and we cannot deny it. In a classic dry Martini, you can find a botanical taste from gin, with notes of juniper berries and pine needles, complemented by flavours from the vermouth.

Ingredients

    • 50 ml vodka

    • 10 ml vermouth

    • 5 ml olive brine

    • ice cubes

    • green olives

PREPARATION

    Pre-chill the martini glass with ice and top up the glass with soda

    Add 5 olives in another glass and muddle

  3. 3

    Add 6-7 ice cubes

    Pour 5 ml olive brine

    Pour 10 ml vermouth

    Pour 50 ml vodka

  7. 7

    Shake the drink, and strain it into the emptied martini glass

  8. 8

    Garnish with 3 olives on a stick
