Chocolate cake with Oreo cream By Sandra M S

This is a delight to all chocolate lovers. It’s filled with chocolate with a combination of oreo cream. Try it, you will love it!

INGREDIENTS

  • • 1½ Cup (370 mMilk
  • • 1 Tsp (5 mVinegar
  • • 1 Tbsp (5 gMilk Powder
  • • 6 Tbsp (38 gPowdered Sugar
  • • ¼ Tsp (1.2 mVanilla Essence
  • • 2 Tbsp (30 mOil
  • • ½ Cup (60 gAll Purpose Flour/Maida
  • • 2 Tbsp (15 gCocoa Powder
  • • ½ Tsp (2 gBaking Powder
  • • 1/8 Tsp (1.5 gBaking Soda
  • • ½ Cup (120 mWhipping Cream
  • • ¼ Cup (57 gSalted Butter
  • • 2 packet Oreos
  • 2 Tspn Cornflour

PREPARATION

    Take half cup milk in a bowl and add vinegar to it and stir until combined. Set aside for 10-15 mins for milk to curdle.

    Then add milk powder, powdered sugar, vanilla essence, oil. Mix till well combined.

    Then add half cup all purpose flour(Maid, cocoa powder, baking powder, and mix just until there are no lumps( Do not over mix).

    Take a 4” cake tin ( you can double the measurements for 6” cake ti, butter it or place butter paper in it and pour the batter into it.

    Preheat oven for 10 mins at 180 degree. Then bake for 25-30 min.

    After the cake is done let it cool down for a while and then divide it into 3 equal parts.

    For the frosting, Add whipping cream in a bowl with iceing suger and beat it well until stiff peaks are formed.

    Then add crushed oreo biscuits ( remove cream of oreo beforehanonto the whipping cream and mix well. ( refrigerate it).

    For the chocolate ganache, mix 1/2 cup cocoa powder, corn flour, 1/2 cup sugar, a pinch of salt, and mix until well combined.

    Then gradually add 1 cup milk and keep on stirring to avoid lumps.

    Place over low heat and keep stirring until it becomes a bit thick as a ganache consistency.

    When it thickens turn off the flame and add 2 tbsp butter and mix well. Then add 1 tsp vanilla essence and mix. Let it cool down.

    For decoration, place each cake layer on top of another by spreading the whipped cream and finally coat the whole cake with cream.

    Let if refrigerate and set for a while.(1-2 hrs).

    Then pour the chocolate ganache over the cake until fully coated.

    Place crushed oreo biscuits on top with some scraped dark chocolate (optionaand refrigerate it for another hr for it to set completely.

    Chocolate cake with oreo cream is ready.
