INGREDIENTS

  • 8 Bread slices
  • Corn flour 6 tbsp
  • All purpose flour (maida)8 tbsp
  • Salt (According to taste)
  • Black pepper powder 2 tbsp
  • Curd 3 tbsp
  • Red food colour - few drops
  • Garlic (chopped)2 tbsp
  • Ginger (chopped)1/2 tbsp
  • Green chili ( chopped)1 tbsp
  • Onion ( cut in to cubes)1 cup
  • Green capsicum (cut in to cubes)1 cup
  • Tomato ketchup 3 tbsp
  • Chill sauce 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 1/4 tsp
  • Chinese salt 1/2 tsp
  • Oil

PREPARATION

    Cut the bread into cubes (make 6 pieces out of a slice).

    Add corn flour, all purpose flour, curd, salt , pepper powder, few drops of red food colour into a bowl. Mix it properly (add water if needed)make a thick batter.

    Heat oil in a pan.

    Dip the bread cubes in the batter and deep fry it in the oil and keep it a side .

    Let's prepare the sauce. Take a pan and add 3 tbsp oil to it. Let it heat properly.

    Then add garlic, ginger, green chili and saute it for a minute. Then add onion and capsicum cubes and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add some black pepper powder and salt and mix it properly.

    Then take b bowl mix 2 tbsp corn flour with 5 tbsp water and add this slurry to the pan and cook it for a minute. The add tomato ketchup, chili sauce, vinegar, soya sauce, Chinese salt and sugar into it and cook till thickens .

    Add the fried bread pieces in to it and mix properly until all the pieces coated with the sauce. Bread manchurian is ready to serve. Enjoy ! πŸ˜‹πŸ€—.
