Beetroot Halwa By Sai Pooja. V

Beetroot halwa is a Indian sweet dish which is very easy to make and healthy and tasty. It increases our blood level in the body. Very simple and easy dish to make at home in 15 minutes. It is so tasty where kids like it very much.

INGREDIENTS

  • Grated Beetroot -1 cup
  • Sugar -1/2cup
  • Ghee- 5 to 6 spoons
  • Cashews and raisins
  • Milk -1 cup

PREPARATION

    In a pan add 2 spoons of ghee and add cashews and raisins.

    Fry them till light brown and take aside.
  3. 3

    Now add grated beetroot and saute for 5 min and cover with lid and cook for 5 minutes.

    Now add milk to it and cover with lid and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. 5

    Now add sugar and mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. 6

    Finally add 2 spoons of ghee and fried dry fruits.
