Baajre ke louse By Shaikh Mubasshir

Baajre ke louse is a home-made traditional recipe made in our family since many generations.This recipe is enriched with nutrients and also healthy snack which is easy and quick to make : )

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 and 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 cup water
  • 4 cups of baajra flour
  • 1 cup of rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon elaichi powder
  • dry fruits
  • oil
  • grated coconut (optional)

PREPARATION

    Firstly, take a bowl and dissolve 1 and 1/2 cup of sugar in 1/2 cup of water .

    Add 1 cup of rice flour and 4 cups of baajra flour to it.

    Secondly, add 1 teaspoon of elaichi powder and dry fruits of your choice .Here you can also add 2-3 tablespoon of grated coconut(optiona.Make a dough of it.

    Now take some amount of dough on the rolling board and make a roti and then using a knife make diamond shaped pieces of it. The thickness should be thin if you want them to crunchy .You can increase the thickness if you want the pieces to be soft.

    Lastly, heat oil in a frying pan on stove and shallow fry the pieces till they become brown.

    Baajre ke louse is ready to be served. You can also store them in a steel or aluminium container for 1 month. They can be also eaten with milk like chocos.
