You are not ready for the new web series of 2026! In 2026, we will finally welcome new seasons of old favourites, and new seasons of dramas we loved in 2025! In the coming twelve months, we can expect to see the return of Emmy winners The Pitt and The Studio for their second seasons, as well as fan favourites Heeramandi and The Hunting Wives. In this streaming era, where not all shows follow the new-season-every-year pace, Bridgerton (last seen in spring 2024), Ted Lasso (2023), and Euphoria (2022) will test the adage that absence makes the heart grow fonder. Confused with the barrage of choices? Here is the best upcoming web series for 2026!
The Pitt
After an Emmy-winning debut season, the Pitt will leap ahead ten months to the weekend of July 4th. After Noah Wyle's Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavich was seen riding a motorcycle to work in the first moments of Season 2, which was released by HBO Max, the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Centre emergency department is likely to see Katherine LaNasa's charge nurse, Dana Evans, and Patrick Ball's Dr Frank Langdon return. Evans was about to quit at the end of season one, and Langdon was fired for drug use. Simultaneously, Sepideh Moafi will assume the role of emergency attending physician alongside Dr. Al-Hashimi.
Heeramandi
Heeramandi returns for a second season after sparking discussions all across the world. The series, created by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, explores the complex web of ties between poetry, politics, and power in Lahore before Partition. Netflix India expects it to be one of the most talked-about cultural moments of 2026.The Heeramandi courtesans joined the liberation fighters at the end of the web series. Their uprooting and subsequent careers in the Bengali and Hindi film industry will supposedly be the focus of the next season. The show's creators are looking to replace the characters played by Aditi Rao Hydari and Richa Chadha with new ones in the next season.
Taha Shah Badussha, Farida Jalal, Adhyayan Suman, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman, Indresh Malik, Jason Shah, Jayati Bhatia, Nivedita Bhargava, Abha Ranta, Vaishnavi Ganatra, Shruti Sharma, and Rajat Kaul were among the other guests on the evening.
A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms
Set around a century before the events of Game of Thrones and a few decades after House of the Dragon, HBO's newest installment in its immensely popular fantasy saga continues the story. Adapted from a George R.R. Martin novella, the six-part series recounts the exploits of defiant "hedge knight" Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey) and his squire Egg (Dexter Sol) as they seek better fortune in a tournament. The Last Ship, a series by Ira Parker, stands out stylistically from the other two dramas. Every day people in Westeros, not nobles, are the main emphasis of the show, and there are no dragons, magic, or huge wars.
Euphoria
Fifty years later, the story picks off with Rue (Zendaya) in Mexico, deeply indebted to drug lord Laurie; Jules (Hunter Schafer) enrolled in art school; and Nate and Cassie (Jacob Elordi and Sydney Sweeney), although miserable, are on the verge of getting married. Sam Levinson's film, featuring an extraordinary cast of A-listers and a scandalous high school drama, has achieved remarkable success. Rosalía, beloved by many in the music industry, is now a part of the cast. Outside of the high school chaos of hormones and terror, I hope it's just as memorable.
Scrubs
The producers of Scrubs finally managed to reunite the original cast for a revival on ABC after years of hinting at the show's return at reunions and other gatherings. Several returning actors, including Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, John C. McGinley, and Judy Reyes, will be returning to their roles, while Bill Lawrence, who created the series, is serving as executive producer (though he is not directly engaged in day-to-day production due to his current overall agreement at Warner Bros.). Scrubs is the twentieth television series produced by Disney. Not only that, but other producers and writers have returned. There is always hope, even though revivals have a checkered history (for every The Conners, there are a few Heroes Reborns). Having people who clearly care about the show and each other on board is a huge plus.
The Boys
April 8th marks the arrival of the last season of the smash popular series The Boys on Prime Video. Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and the lads are living under Homelander's (Antony Starr) dictatorship in Erik Kripke's heroic epic, which will conclude in season five. Even though it's the last chapter of the show, the franchise will definitely continue after it. With the spinoff Gen V already in the can, The Boys will soon be adding the prequel series Vought Rising, which stars Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash.
Bridgerton
With Yerin Ha as Sophie Baek and Luke Thompson as the second son of the Bridgertons, Netflix's beloved Regency-era family is back for a fourth season. An Offer From a Gentleman, the third book in Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series, serves as the inspiration for the season. Season 4 of Bridgerton will premiere on Netflix in two parts, continuing the format from season 3.
