One spectacular celebration brings together more than 120 films from 30 nations at the Red Lorry Film Festival. From critically acclaimed features to beloved cult classics, these are the stories that have captivated audiences across the globe. The program features lectures by seasoned professionals from around the world and films that premiered at prestigious film festivals, including Cannes, Berlin, Venice, and Toronto.

The promoters of the Red Lorry Film Festival announced it on Friday, January 23, 2026, and the festival itself took place in Mumbai from March 13–15, 2026. Among the more than 120 films that will be shown during the festival, which is organized by ticketing firm BookMyShow, is the Indian premiere of Is This Thing On?, directed by Bradley Cooper.

In anticipation of the entire lineup, the festival had already announced several titles for its third edition. Among these are Wrangler, Safe House (which won the ICFT-UNESCO Gandhi Award), Rental Family (with Brendan Fraser), Case 137, and Fantasy Life. A Pale View of Hills, Nino (Winner of the Louis Roederer Foundation Rising Star Award), Peak Everything, Redland, Fatih Akin's Amrum, The Love That Remains (Winner of the Palm Dog Award), and A Pale View of Hills are among the Cannes titles that will be playing.

As it came to a close in Mumbai, the Red Lorry Film Festival solidified its position as an exciting stage for showcasing international and Indian cinema. Cinephiles and industry insiders came together for an exciting cinematic experience at the festival, which featured sold-out screenings, stimulating discussions, and an impressive roster of acclaimed directors, actors, and producers.

Featuring Aamir Khan, Ashutosh Gowariker, and other members of the film's cast and crew, a special screening commemorating the film's 25th anniversary was a major event at the festival. After the film, Ashish Hemrajani, co-founder of BookMyShow, moderated a discussion including Aamir Khan and Ashutosh Gowarikar. With lively audience participation, the program examined the making and legacy of the legendary film, including interesting anecdotes from filming and more.

Ashish Hemrajani, CEO and Founder of BookMyShow, is at the head of RLFF, where his love of entertainment takes a daring new form. The festival he brings is more than just a screening; it is a celebration of cinema, thanks to his talent for transforming ideas into cultural experiences. Alongside him, Parikshit Dar, co-founder and director of BookMyShow is making sure the event goes well with his technological expertise. The unsung hero behind the spectacle, his passion for film and extensive knowledge make him indispensable.

Ashish Saksena, COO of Cinemas at BookMyShow, is instrumental in connecting films with viewers and moulding the Indian cinematic experience from discovery to appreciation. Prasad Paladugu, who turns plans into action, makes this goal a reality by making the festival bigger and better. Meher Acharia Dar, whose career spans the stage, the cinema, and over-the-top (OTT) platforms, injects the festival's story with vitality and artistic honesty.

The festival's ambassador roster further enhances its cinematic grandeur. Everyone from Sanjeev Bijli, who is changing the way people perceive the theatre, to auteurs like Sriram Raghavan, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, and Vikramaditya Motwane has their own special way of looking at stories. The film's director, Atul Sabharwal, brings an investigative edge. Ensuring that RLFF is more than just an event—it's a defining moment in India’s cinematic landscape, is the goal of a powerful festival council, which includes industry luminaries like Sunil Kheterpal, Shibasish Sarkar, and Kamal Gianchandani.
