At last, Tollywood’s favourite couple, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, are finally engaged! At first, word of their engagement spread like wildfire throughout the web. Officials from the 'Kingdom' actor's camp have now verified the rumours. Speculation had it that Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna were engaged, and on Saturday morning, the actor's camp formally confirmed the news. The actor's entourage reportedly remained silent about the small ceremony.
Even though Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have remained tight-lipped about their engagement and haven't posted anything online about it, curious onlookers caught the Arjun Reddy actor showing off his ring during a recent public appearance.
Recently, Vijay and his family were photographed at the Maha Samadhi of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Anand Deverakonda, the actor's younger Vijay's brother appeared by his side. Wearing a t-shirt, sunglasses, and a moustache, Vijay exuded an air of casual cool. As soon as he got the flowers, his admirers noticed an engagement ring on his finger. Even though Vijay and Rashmika haven't made any social media announcements about their engagement, Vijay's staff confirmed the news to SCREEN on Saturday. Reliable sources confirm that only Vijay's immediate family members graced the engagement at his Hyderabad mansion.

After making their acting debut in the 2018 love drama Geetha Govindam, rumours began to circulate that Vijay and Rashmika were dating. Rakshit Shetty, with whom Rashmika co-starred in Kirik Party, Rashmika and Rakshit announced their engagement in July 2017. A month after the release of Geetha Govindam, however, they broke off their engagement. As a duo, Vijay and Rashmika quickly became the audience's favourites; in 2019, they co-starred in Dear Comrade. Nevertheless, admirers frequently noticed that they were posting holiday images from the same places, which led to speculation that they were dating.
