With only 100 days left for the release of the first instalment of Ayan Mukerji’s much-awaited fantasy drama ‘Brahmastra’, the minds behind the film are going all out to build curiosity and excitement among the audience.

After releasing the first look poster and a love song around the leads Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding, the makers have now released a 32-second teaser introducing the entire cast of the film.

This short clip introduces the ensemble cast of ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’, which includes Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni.

The teaser reveals negligible details about this love story with supernatural forces at play, but it does unveil the looks of Amitabh, Mouni and Nagarjuna.

Mouni, our April 2022 digital cover star, had mentioned to us about how excited she was for the release of this film. She described her role as one of the most interesting characters she has ever played.

And after watching this teaser, we can quite understand the excitement. Mouni is playing the villain in ‘Brahmastra’ and her first look is spot on.

Many people on social media, however, can’t stop pointing out that Mouni’s character has an uncanny resemblance to the Scarlet Witch aka Wanda Maximoff character of Marvel Comics.

Meanwhile, Amitabh and Nagarjuna’s characters have been kept under wraps.

For the uninitiated, ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’ is part of the planned trilogy that will hit theatres on September 9, 2022. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The trailer release of the film’s first instalment will happen on June 15, 2022.
