Samantha made her digital debut with ‘The Family Man 2’ and as Raji, a Sri Lankan Tamil liberation fighter, it was her best performance to date. She won the Filmfare Best Actress and also the Best Performance Female (series) award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
Ram Charan and Samantha’s chemistry was clearly the highlight of this film set in the 1980s. Samantha as Ramalakshmi did a terrific job with her expressions and dance moves.

Her debut role as Jessie in this 2010 romantic film starring opposite Naga Chaitanya was iconic and garnered a massive fan following. This coming-of-age film deals with the complexities of a relationship that many could resonate with. It’s one of the most-watched romantic Telugu films and for all the right reasons.
