5 Ayurvedic Tricks To Combat Hair Fall This Monsoon

Hair fall is a common problem during the monsoon, and Dr Nitika Kohli, Ayurvedic expert at AIMIL Healthcare shares 5 simple tips on her Facebook page, to help you deal with seasonal hair fall.

1. Oil Is Your Best Buddy

Oil massages can condition your scalp, increase blood circulation and keep your hair from becoming static-charged and unruly. Pro Tip: Warm the oil slightly before you apply.

2. Use Marigold-Infused Water

Marigold flowers are extremely beneficial for oily and flat locks. You can make marigold-infused water by adding a handful of fresh or dried marigold flowers to two cups of hot water. Let it steep for an hour. Strain the water, let it cool down and use it as a final rinse. It acts as a shine tonic and dandruff exterminator.

3. Natural Hair Mask

Take soaked fenugreek, curry leaves, tulsi leaves and greem gram in equal proportions. Blend to make a paste. Apply the paste from the root to the tip of the hair. Wash with normal water after 30 minutes.

4. Aloe Vera

Make a hair pack from the jelly of an aloe vera leaf and apply it to your hair. Please keep it for an hour and then wash it off with your regular shampoo.

5.Stay Hydrated

We simply can't stress on this one enough. Drinking 2-3 litre of water a day will not only help to keep your tresses healthy but also give your skin a natural glow. For more hair care tips check out our Style and Beauty section.
