Abhishek Bachhan met Aishwarya Rai for the first time in Switzerland when she was shooting with Bobby Deol for ‘Aur Pyaar Hogaya’, while Abhishek was working as a production boy in Amitabh Bachchan’s movie ‘Mruthyu Daata’.
Their first movie together was 'Dhai Akshar Prem Ke' in 2000. They have featured in eight movies together till date. Needless to say, they make an adorable couple not only on but off screen as well.
After dating for years, the couple finally tied the knot in 2007 and they looked nothing less than royalty on their special day. Aishwarya looked ethereal as a South-Indian bride and Abhishek looked charming in his white sherwani.
The couple welcomed a baby girl in 2011 and named her Aaradhya. Aishwarya often posts pictures with her daughter on social media.
Abhishek Bachchan is one of the most supportive husbands in B-town. In an interview, he stated, "She isn't as popular as me, she is more popular. She's a bigger star than I am. I'm very happy and proud about it.”
This year the couple completed 15 years of their marriage. We wish the couple a lifetime replete with love and happiness.
