Four-time Formula 1 Drivers' Champion, Sebastian Vettel, raced his last on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Sebastian Vettel started his F1 career in 2007 with BMW Sauber and ended it with a two-year contract with Aston Martin Racing in 2022. Over the years, he has driven for five racing teams including Scuderia Ferarri and Torro Rosso.
His fourth world championship win was at the Indian Grand Prix, held at the Buddh International Circuit, Noida, in 2013. He described that win as “overwhelming.”
In the post-race interviews at Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2022, Vettel said, “I guess it’s a huge privilege being in the position that we are in. With that comes some responsibility, so I hope to pass on a little bit to the other drivers, to carry on some of the good work.”
In 2015, he joined Scuderia Ferrari uplifting a sagging team and challenging the up-and-coming Lewis Hamilton every step of the way.
With an extraordinary career and incredible ethics, Sebastian Vettel has left an indelible mark in the racing world. Danke Seb!
In his 16-year-old career, Vettel has won four consecutive championships when he was with Red Bull Racing from 2010 to 2013. He is also the youngest driver ever be quadruple world champion, at the age of 26.
