Ms Marvel, a much-awaited superhero series by the Marvel Comics, has finally released on Disney+ hotstar and it features none other than Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar.
The series is based on a Pakistani-origin girl in the United States who acquires superpowers.
Ahead of the release, the makers released a teaser of Ms Marvel, which revealed the first look of Farhan Akhtar.
Farhan is seen dressed in a yellow-red robe, sporting full-grown beard. In the video, he is speaking to Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan.
“What you seek is seeking you,” he says and his voice echoes in the next scene.
While the news of Farhan debuting in the Marvel Universe has been around for a while, his looks in Ms Marvel and the details about his character were kept under wraps.
As the teaser got released, Farhan took to Twitter and shared a post of appreciation for the creators, directors, cast, and crew of Ms Marvel.
He also added, “It is an appreciation of Marvel. I'm proud to be part of their conscious inclusiveness. This show is a celebration of diversity and it certainly will bring joy and pride of self-identity to millions of young girls and boys of the sub-continent."
Ms Marvel, is an American miniseries that features Marvel’s first teen Muslim superhero. This show also features Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan.
