North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja
Durga Puja 2022 celebrations started on October 1, 2022, and to celebrate the festival, a slew of celebrities marked their presence at Sarbojanin (public) pandals across Mumbai. Here’s a list of Bollywood stars spotted.
Kajol was spotted multiple times at her family-led North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti Pandal at Hotel Tulip Star in Juhu. In the latest update, her son Yug Devgan and she not only took blessings of Maa Durga but also served the bhog to the devotees present.
On Mahaashtami day (eighth day of Navratri celebrations), Rani attended her family’s puja pandal at Hotel Tulip Star, dressed in a beautiful gold saree paired with traditional jewellery. She posed with cousins Kajol, Tanishaa Mukerji, Ayan Mukerji, and Sharbani Mukherjee.
Father-to-be actor Ranbir Kapoor also attended the pujo on Ashtami day, and was seen interacting with his BFF Ayan Mukerji, Ayan’s father Deb Mukherjee, Rani Mukerji, Tanuja, and Jaya Bachchan.
Along with Ranbir Kapoor, his co-star from the Bollywood superhero trilogy ‘Brahmastra’, Mouni Roy was also present at the pandal. She was wearing mesmerising white embroidered saree, and was seen posing with Ayan and Ranbir.
‘Bigg Boss 7’ first runner-up Tanishaa Mukerji has been a regular at the Durga Puja pandal with her mother Tanuja and sister Kajol. On Ashtami, she was dressed in a traditional Banarasi saree, draped in a modern way and accessorised with a belt.
‘Shonar Bengal’ host and TV personality Sumona Chakravarti attended the Hotel Tulip Star pandal with her rumoured boyfriend actor-director Samrat Mukerji.
Veteran actor Jaya Bachchan also visited the Durga Pujo pandal at Hotel Tulip Star and was seen interacting with Kajol, Tanuja, Rani Mukerji, Ayan Mukerji, and several other celebrities present there.
Director-producer Anurag Basu, the man behind Bollywood films such as ‘Murder’ and ‘Gangster: A Love Story’, also visited a Durga Puja pandal to seek blessings of Maa Durga.
Singer Shaan Mukherji shared a photo from the North Bombay Durga Puja pandal on Instagram, and also mentioned that he will soon be performing at the Vashi Durga Puja pandal.
