Met Gala 2022 opened with high fashion looks served on the red carpet. But, only a few celebrities showed up in jaw-dropping looks based on the theme, Gilded Glamour. Here’s our roundup of the best-dressed celebrities from the Met Gala 2022
Co-chair of Met Gala 2022, Blake Lively wore an embellished Versace gown that came with a sweeping train in tones of rose gold. However, a dramatic reveal happened in the midway of the red carpet.
Blake switched up her look as the bow of her previous gown unwrapped to reveal another gown in blue colour with details in shimmering rose gold.
The only Indian to attend Met Gala 2022, Natasha Poonawalla chose an embellished saree by Sabyasachi, a metallic Schiaparelli bustier and edgy jewellery pieces by designer Bhavya Ramesh. Styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania, this look was striking at its best.
Singer Billie Eilish walked the red carpet in custom Gucci. She opted for a pale green and cream corset gown, crystal-adorned black choker and a messy-chic hair updo that made the look contemporary.
American actor, Laura Harrier wore a custom-made, hand-stitched H&M gown dress, which was created in collaboration with famed designer Victor Glemaud. The corseted black-and-silver gown is a winner without going overboard.
Actor Gemma Chan chose Louis Vuitton to dress her up for the Met Gala 2022. She went for a black and silver dress adorned with sparkling jewels and structured box-like designs.
Actor Sarah Jessica Parker knows how to nail Met Gala and its themes. This year, she went for a strapless ball gown by designer Christopher John Rogers. Her look was completed with a headpiece and veil by London milliner Philip Treacy.
Artist Anitta also went for a ball gown by Moschino designed by Jeremy Scott. Her purple off-shoulder gown accented with pearls remind you of '80s glamour.
Kim Kardashian’s look screamed ‘iconic’ as she wore one of Marilyn Monroe's legendary outfit, designed by Jean-Louis. This original dress was worn by Marilyn Monroe for then American President John F. Kennedy's birthday fundraiser in 1962.
Model Kaia Gerber chose a glittery, sheer gown that came with silver beaded fringe and floral motifs by designer Alexander McQueen.
Rapper Bad Bunny made his Met Gala debut this year wearing a beige-coloured long skirt-suit by Burberry, embracing androgynous style at its best.
