FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week 2022: Day 5 Featured Shine, Gloss And Drama

​Keerti Kadhire

​Designer Keerti Kadire’s collection titled Alezaeh screamed festive with ruffles, florals and sequins. Actress Pooja Hedge turned showstopper wearing a pastel lehenga set. The lineup included contemporary lehengas, coordinated sets, sheer long jackets and sarees that were both elegant and playful.

​Romaa

​Label Romaa’s collection was inspired by Jharokaas from Lucknow. Titled ‘Jharoka Couture '22’, the lineup included co-ord sets, peplum sarees, lehengas that were equal parts elegant and royal. Actress and model Nargis Fakhri turned muse for the collection wearing a voluminous anarkali suit with intricate gold embroidery.

​Siddhartha Tytler

​Ace designer Siddhartha Tytler's collection, titled ‘Sometsuke’ is inspired by the Japanese art form of decorating ceramics with brush-painted designs. The edit comprises from swimwear to heavily embroidered couture lehengas accented in applique work, crystals, heavy sequin, ruffles and digital prints.

​Mynah's Reynu Tandon + Nikhita Tandon

​Mynah’s Reynu Taandon and Nikhita Tandon’s titled collection, ‘Unveiled I'm Worth it’ is inspired by an urban-chic traveller. The collection elegantly moved from resort wear silhouettes like shirt dresses, kaftans to glamorously demure evening dresses and dinner gowns. Actress and model Urvashi Rautela turned muse for this pret resort collection.

​Pawan Sachdeva

​Designer Pawan Sachdeva showcased immaculately tailored ensembles. The collection titled ‘MenVerse’ gives athletic vibes while being sartorially sound, catered for the free-spirited men. Actor Aparshakti Khurana was the showstopper for this collection.

​Varun Chakkilam

​Designer Varun Chakkilam showcased his collection titled Recherche - a conglomeration of various summer shades including beige, lilacs, twilight blue, and transitioning ombre. The lineup included gorgeous capes, Indo-western co-ord sets and for menswear, crisp sherwanis and bandhgala in feisty florals. Actress Kangana Ranaut was the showstopper wearing a lilac-blue neo floral lehenga set.

​aLL-the plus size store’s new collection had a lot of vivid colours, tropical tints, and tie-dye designs. Womenswear had a wide selection of maxis, jumpsuits, tiered dresses, athleisure options while menswear included a wide choice of printed shirts, bermudas and biker jackets. Actress Neha Dhupia made a show-stopping entry wearing a white, floral maxi dress.

​Grand Finale: Falguni Shane Peacock

​FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week’22 came to a fabulous end with Falguni Shane Peacock’s collection ‘Earthbound’ highlighting sequins, delicate feathers and glitter. Unconventional futuristic outfits included bomber jackets, dresses, jumpsuits and athleisure sets. Actress Ananya Panday turned showstopper for the finale wearing a mini dress with a long train.
