When not impressing us with his acting chops, 'Brahmastra' actor Ranbir Kapoor is busy making our jaws drop with his fitness game.
In conversation with Zee Zest, Ranbir Kapoor's fitness trainer Shivoham aka Dheepesh Bhatt revealed a few fitness secrets of the actor. He also mentioned that the actor's routine changes based on the role he is playing and what it requires.
He practices strength training three days a week. This type of workout helps you manage/lose weight and be a stronger, leaner, and healthier version of yourself.
A type of strength training, weight training involves using weights for resistance. It helps build muscle mass and strength to protect your joints from injury.
Ranbir also alternates between CrossFit and functional training. CrossFit consists of Olympic lifts, squats, deadlifts, and several other movements. It helps improve physical strength and manage weight, among other benefits.
This type of training is known to increase coordination, balance, and posture, and improve muscle strength.
Earlier this year, while he was shooting for an upcoming rom-com, Ranbir was on a ketogenic diet. But currently, his diet is a well-balanced one with protein, carbs, and fats.
Shivoham also mentioned that Ranbir is dedicated to his fitness routine. He is consistent with his workouts and is quite disciplined. And that consistency helps him achieve good results.
