Resortwear label, Shivan & Narresh presented the ‘Fresconian Series’ with Rajasthan's Shekhawati Havelis as the inspiration. Hand knitting, crochet and lace embroidery beautifully enhanced the glamour of puffer jackets, colourful monokinis, camouflage co-ord sets and abstract print dresses. Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu turned muse for the designer duo.
Prints have been label Nirmooha’s signature and this time was inspired by worn-out facades and shrivelled wallpaper. Unveiling a lineup of embroidered, cropped jackets, halter gowns, and bralettes under suits and kaftans in textured fabric, the collection titled ‘Ancienne’ brings forth a nostalgic vintage vibe.
Titled 'Marbella', designer duo Pankaj & Nidhi’s summer collection was inspired by the picturesque town of the same name in Spain. Gorgeous bright hues like coral, sunny yellow, and even beige danced on the ramp while the ensembles were highlighted with intense surface ornamentation, cutwork embroidery and flowing tulles. Actress Sanjana Sanghi turned muse for the designer duo.
Celebrity stylist Eshaa Amiin’s pret label’s collection ‘Deconstructed Geometry’ was based on geometric shapes designed with intriguing vibrant prints. Poncho blouse, shorts with long coats, coat dresses, denim joggers and tiered skirts added a fresh touch to the collection.
Designer Punit Balana unveiled titled collection ‘Lakshmi’ that celebrates the craft traditions of Rajasthan with a more contemporary form. The ensembles are replete with Kalamkari and Ajrak prints on luscious Chanderi silks. Skirts with pockets, well-fitted corsets and capes, printed sarees, metallic bralettes and peplum jackets ruled the collection. Actress Janhvi Kapoor was the showstopper for this show.
Master couturier Tarun Tahiliani closed Day 4 with unusual textures and modern detailing. His pret collection showcased innovative Zari threads and Resham to create a metallic textured sheen. Actress Kriti Sanon was the showstopper for this avant-garde collection.
