Understanding the importance of a hydrated, healthy skin, Alia begins her routine with a lightweight face mist that gently soothes and refreshes the skin.
Second in line is a vibrating gold face roller that she uses to massage her face in upward and outward motion. Face rollers are known to reduce puffiness, improve blood circulation, calm inflammation, in addition to anti-ageing benefits. “It instantly wakes me up,” mentions Alia in the video.
Our eyes and the area around it need a lot of TLC and one of the ways Alia ensures that is by using an eye cream. “I apply it because my under-eye looks a little puffy in the morning and I’m about to go face the camera,” shares Alia while demonstrating her skincare routine.
Another secret to a hydrated, healthy skin is niacinamide – her favourite ingredient – that she applies on her face and neck. Talking about its benefits, she says, “It’s a vitamin that helps get rid of any fine lines, protects from pollution, hydrates your skin, and helps regenerates.”
According to the actor, caffeine helps with water retention and is also a part of er skincare ritual.
Alia swears by her moisturiser to keep her skin hydrated. She uses a watermelon juice-based moisturiser. “Just like you drink water, your skin also needs to drink water,” explains the actor.
The final step of her multi-step skincare ritual is to use a good sunscreen. A trusted aid to keep your skin looking glowing and healthy, Alia . mentions that she applies makeup before her makeup too. And that you need a sunscreen even if we are just going near a window.
