Lakme Fashion Week

​Fashion weeks in India are incomplete without celebrity showstoppers and the Lakme Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI October 2022 was no different. Check out all the stars who graced the ramp this season.

​1. Mrunal Thakur

​The ‘Sita Ramam’ actor opened the show for Lakme Absolute Grand Finale Rajesh Pratap Singh. She donned a contemporary black-and-white pant-saree created by the celebrated designer.

​2. Kriti Sanon

​Dressed in a glittery lehenga-choli set with a dupatta styled as a cape, Kriti Sanon looked ethereal as the showstopper for designer duo Shantnu and Nikhil.

​3. Ananya Panday

​Ananya Panday looked glam and how, in a bright orange blazer dress when she closed the show for designers Pankaj and Nidhi.

​4. Huma Qureshi

​Zee Zest’s August digital cover star Huma Qureshi took to the runway for designer Nachiket Barve’s wedding-festive collection. She wore a beautiful royal pink lehenga choli set with a frill dupatta.

​5. Yami Gautam

​Bollywood actor Yami Gautam was the muse for designer duo Shyamal and Bhumika. She walked the ramp in a stunning pastel pink, heavily embroidered lehenga.

​6. Alaya F

​Designer Nikita Mhaisalkar showcased her latest collection ‘Tropical Times’ and Alaya F presented the final creation of the range, which was a mini cut-out dress with a long trail.

​7. Sidharth Malhotra

​Sidharth Malhotra, who was last seen in ‘Shershaah’, wowed the audience at designer Gaurav Gupta’s fashion showcase. He strutted down the ramp in an all-black outfit by Gupta.

​8. Sania Mirza

​Sports personality Sania Mirza graced the LFW x FDCI runway for her friend and favourite designer Anushree Reddy. She wore a dreamy glittery lehenga and looking nothing short of a queen.

​9. Kunal Kapoor

​The dapper Kunal Kapoor owned the stage when he walked on the ramp in a striped shirt and pants with a jacket, a signature SVA by Sonam and Paras Modi.

​10. Mouni Roy

​The ‘Brahmastra’ star sashayed down the ramp in a beautifully embroidered pastel lehenga by designer Payal Singhal.

​11. Aditi Rao Hydari

​Aditi Rao Hydari closed the show for designer Gaurang’s ‘Sindoor’ showcase at the LFW x FDCI. She wore a golden lehenga-choli set with a red dupatta – all made using traditional Indian weaves -and looked like she had just stepped out of a classic painting.

​12. Tara Sutaria

​Bollywood diva Tara Sutaria turned muse for designer Aisha Rao, who presented a wedding-festive collection inspired by a folk art that uses broken tile mosaics.

​13. Genelia Deshmukh

​Designers Varun and Nidhika’s showstopper for their LFW x FDCI Oct 2022 showcase was Bollywood actor and producer Genelia Deshmukh.

​14. Kalki Kanmani

​Kalki was the perfect muse for designer Abhishek Sharma, who presented a range titled ‘Dusk’. Kalki’s outfit was a gown with a thigh high slit with an attached trail.

​15. Vijay Varma

​Nirmooha’s ‘Magical Wilderness’ showcase was brought to a close by ‘Darlings’ actor Vijay Varma. Vijay was spotted wearing a lime green T-shirt and pant set with a printed long jacket.

​16. Malaika Arora

​Fitness entrepreneur and celebrity Malaika reminded us of JLo as she sashayed down the ramp for Limerick.

​17. Sanjana Sanghi

​Sanjana exuded regal vibes as she stopped the show for veteran designer Anju Modi in a dhoti-blouse set with a short jacket and dupatta.

​18. Kanika Kapoor

​‘Baby Doll’ fame singer Kanika Kapoor was the showstopper for Swatti Kapoor. She was spotted wearing a Marsala lehenga paired with a sheer shirt in similar hue.

​19. Diana Penty

​It was a treat to watch actor Diana Petty walk the ramp. She closed the show for the label Not So Serious by Pallavi Mohan in a gold embellished backless gown.

​20. Gauahar Khan

​TV personality Gauahar Khan turned showstopper for the winners of INIFD Launchpad. She wore an outfit created by one of the students and it consisted of a skirt, top, and an attachable sheer sleeve.

​21. Shamita Shetty

​'Bigg Boss' fame actor Shamita Shetty made a showstopping entry on the ramp for designer Rina Dhaka, who showcased her ‘Urban Tribe’ range.

​22. Babil Khan

​Late actor Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan, a budding filmmaker and actor, closed the show for designer Pawan Sachdeva’s newest collection made for the modern men.
