Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor announced the arrival of their first child on Sunday. The couple are proud parents to a baby girl.
Alia took to Instagram and shared a digital sketch of a lion, lioness and a cub, with a note that read, “And in the best news of our lives - our baby is here... and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love - blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!! Love love love Alia and Ranbir.”
Talking about the new bundle of joy, Neetu Kapoor told the paparazzi, “Abhi choti hai, aaj hi hui hai. Toh fir pata nahi itna. She is very cute.”
When Kapoor was asked about Alia’s health, she said, “Ekdum first class, absolutely okay. Everything is fine.”
Soon after, Alia and Ranbir announced the arrival of their baby girl, an old video of the actress talking about her daughter’s name went viral. Previously on a dance reality show, she told a contestant, “Almaa bahut hi sundar naam hai, main apni beti ka naam Alma rakhungi.”
Another video of Ranbir’s wish for a daughter has gone viral. Earlier, on a chat show, he expressed, “Mujhe beti he chahiye.”
