On Raksha Bandhan 2022, we put together five reasons why we think the ‘Ek Villain Returns’ actor deserves the ‘best brother’ title.
Arjun has been a father-figure to his younger sister Anshula Kapoor and has looked after her (and continues to do so), especially after the death of his mother. Anshula has openly spoken about it several times on her Instagram profile.
After actor Sridevi’s death, Arjun, who was always cold and distant to half-sisters Khushi and Janhvi, stepped up for them. He not only fulfilled his responsibilities as a brother but also showed his love and care for them ever since, despite complicated ties.
When a media publication made derogatory and misogynistic remarks on Twitter about Janhvi Kapoor back in 2018, Arjun lashed out at them. “It’s shameful that ur eye would go searching for something like this shame on u,” read a part of his tweet.
Arjun went all out and was there for his cousin Sonam Kapoor during her wedding. Sonam’s bridal entry, with Arjun holding a beautiful red dupatta over her head, was one of the most heartwarming moments from the #EverydayPhenomenal wedding.
To support his cousin Harshvarrdhan Kapoor, the ‘Ek Villain Returns’ actor performed an item number in ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’.
