5 Healthy Skincare Habits To Adopt In 2023

Dr Madhuri Agarwal of Yavana Aesthetics Clinic shares habits that men and women should practice every day for healthy and happy skin.

1. Consistency

Use any skincare product consistently for a minimum of four to six months to see results and obtain healthy skin. Switching products frequently may reduce overall benefits.

2. Minimalism

Keep your skincare routine to the minimal, and ensure they contain the key ingredients your skin needs to stay healthy and vibrant.

3. Expert advice

Your skin changes with the season and age. Consult a board-certified dermatologist at least once a year to understand what your skin needs.

4. Prevention

Take the preventative approach and attempt to incorporate a healthy lifestyle. At the end of the day, how you feel inside reflects on your skin.

5. Well-rounded routine

Ensure that your skincare routine doesn't start and end just at your face, but also targets the neck and other parts of the body.

And most importantly, Dr Madhuri suggests that you avoid falling prey to social media trends. Every skin is different and so is the care it requires.
