From Anushka Sharma to Mrunal Thakur and Sara Ali Khan, several Indian stars walked the Cannes Film Festival 2023 red carpet, and these are the fashion trends they rocked.
Touted as one of the hottest fashion trends of 2023, the hooded gown (capuche silhouette) was first introduced in 1969 by Yves Saint Laurent, and they continue to create a buzz. This year, we saw Bollywood celebrities Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Mrunal Thakur don such a dress.
The body-hugging gowns are known for their ability to showcase one’s figure in a flattering way. Of the many Indian stars, Sunny Leone, Mouni Roy, and Manushi Chhillar were a few who rocked such gowns on the red carpet.
Sara Ali Khan and Mrunal Thakur showed us that you can’t go wrong with the six-yard wonder that a saree is. Both showcased their take on saree at the Cannes 2023 red carpet.
Ruffles were everywhere! Ruffles adorned Anushka Sharma’s off-the-shoulder gown; and were also a prominent part of Aditi Rao Hydari’s sunshine yellow gown for Cannes 2023.
Urvashi Rautela and Mouni Roy embraced the feather trend for their Cannes 2023 appearances; however, their looks as well-received.
