FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week
Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan made a comeback to the ramp at FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week 2021 in a Gaurav Gupta outfit, seven months after the birth of her second son, Jeh Ali Khan.
Malaika Arora looked dazzling in a bridal lehenga and as the showstopper for designer Annu Patel. The red lehenga paired with a gold blouse with a plunging neckline and a gold choker is a must-have for a wedding trousseau.
Soha Ali Khan turned showstopper for designer Megha Jain. A perfect blend of ethnic and contemporary, she looked stunning in the black strapless gown with golden stripes that was amped up by gold glitter on the neck.
‘Rashmi Rocket’-star, Taapsee Pannu, walked the ramp in pastel green and lilac saree from designer Gaurang Shah's Chaand collection. She adorned her curly hair with a flower accessory. Jhumkas and a simple red bindi completed the look.
Day 4 of the FDCI x LFW 2021 saw actor Shraddha Kapoor turn showstopper for designer Anamika Khanna. She wore a black outfit with beads and sequin work from Khanna's label AK-OK.
Actor Chitrangada Singh wore a pastel blue lehenga with silver work from designers Shikha and Shrishti's Prakriti collection. The ensemble was paired with jewellery by Krishna Jewellers Pearls and Gems.
Diana Penty was the showstopper for Designer Aisha Rao's Paper Dolls Collection. A colour palette of ebony, gold, pink, lavender, upcycled fabrics with Rao's signature appliqué work made Penty look nothing less than a fairy tale princess.
Presenting designers Abraham and Thakore's sustainable collection was actor Dia Mirza in a hand stitched, applique and patchwork, kimono inspired outfit.
Another actor to walk in an outfit from designer Anamika Khanna's AK-OK collection was actor Kajal Aggarwal. She paired the A-line multi-coloured kaftan with beige and orange footwear and carried a Dior bag.
Jersey actor Mrunal Thakur turned muse for designer JJ Valaya to present his Festive 21-22 collection – Rumeli (The Turks of the Balkans) collection. Ivory, ecru, teal, cobalt, are some of the many colours that were used in the outfit; not to mention the thread and metal work from the Ottoman Empire.
The actor, producer, director, turned showstopper for designer Sanjukta Dutta in a traditional embroidered black Mekhla Chador paired with bangles, maang tikka and gajra.
