​We never get sick of hearing wedding proposal stories, especially when celebrities are involved. Bollywood’s finest know how to pop the question in the most epic ways, and here are some of our favourites.

1. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor

​Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt on ‘Koffee with Karan’ season 7 revealed that beau Ranbir Kapoor popped the question at Masai Mara in Kenya, a place they have a strong connect with. No decoration or chartered flights, Ranbir proposed in the middle of the jungle with a sparkly ring.

2. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas

​The American singer-songwriter Nick Jonas reportedly shut a Tiffany & Co. store in London in the middle of the day to pick the perfect engagement ring for Priyanka. He then took her on a trip to Crete, Greece, and popped the question there.

3. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan

​Reports suggest Saif proposed to Kareena in Paris because it was where his father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi proposed to Sharmila Tagore. Saif proposed not once but twice – first at a bar, and second, at the Notre Dame Church – but Kareena needed time to think. It was a couple of days later that she finally agreed.

4. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal

​In true filmy style, Vicky hid the ring and a note that read ‘will you marry me?’ in a box of dark-chocolate brownies, according to an Outlook report. The rest, as we know, is history.

5. Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover

​Karan popped the question to Bipasha on New Year’s Eve 2015 in Koh Samui, Thailand. He asked to marry him against the backdrop of a white sand beach, endless palm trees, and fireworks in the sky.

6. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan

​Junior Bachchan fell in love with Aishwarya during the shoot of ‘Kuch Naa Kaho’ in New York. During which, he would often stand in the balcony of his hotel and think of proposing to his lady love. So, when the time came, he took her to that exact balcony and asked if she’d want to marry him.
