6 Indian Celebs Who Joined Bear Grylls On His Wild Survival Trails

India’s first interactive special - Ranveer Vs Wild With Bear Grylls, released on Netflix on July 8.

The latest teaser shows Ranveer Singh eating a bug that was served on his dinner plate with a cloche. The caption of the promo read, “You decide what Ranveer Singh eats, where he goes, how he sleeps. Sab kuch!”

By the end of the trip, Grylls was all praises for Ranveer. Sharing a BTS picture, he wrote, “Ranveer Singh, it was a privilege to be beside you when you completed this trip! It was all worth it: bears, cliffs, rapids… all for that! #adventure #nevergiveup (sic).”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Before Singh, many other Indian celebs joined Grylls on his adventure trail. The first Indian guest on his show was our Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019. It was shot at Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve in Uttarakhand.

Rajnikanth

The Indian megastar was the second celebrity to appear on Grylls’ show in 2020. It was Karnataka’s Bandipur Tiger Reserve’s jungle.

Akshay Kumar

From creating reef knots to rope harnesses, ziplining over a river with crocodiles to cooking in the middle of the jungle and drinking elephant poop tea, Akshay Kumar did it all on his ‘Into The Wild With Bear Grylls’ journey that was shot at Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka in 2020.

Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn was the next to join hands with Grylls and he had his share of adventure with sharks and unfavourable weather conditions at the Indian ocean.

Vicky Kaushal
