Global icon and Cannes jury member, Deepika Padukone’s sartorial ruling has finally begun at the event. The actor arrived at the jury’s photocall session dressed head-to-toe in a Sabyasachi creation. She went for a contemporary look with a pair of green billowy pants and a tropical printed shirt styled with high heels.

For the accessories, Deepika chose Sabyasachi’s Lucknow Rose necklace with multi-coloured gemstones that complemented her contemporary look perfectly. While her hair was dressed up in a high-knot bun, her tropical printed scarf accented the elegance of the look.

Padukone kept her makeup soft yet looked glamorous. She embraced the classic nude makeup look in her own unique way with long-winged liner, soft smoky eyes, bronzed cheeks and matte brown lipstick.

As a representative of Indian cinema on a global platform like Cannes, Padukone's decision to start the event wearing an Indian luxury house like Sabyasachi speaks volumes. It will be exciting to find out what more this bonafide icon has in store for the world.
